Flu at 11 weeks pregnant

I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant and have been ill with flu-like symptoms all week. Just about coping to WFH in bed with my laptop. Shivering, aching, headache, no appetite, sometimes sweaty, cough, blocked nose, not sleeping well. Google of course has been anything but reassuring with warnings of birth defects and miscarriage, but surely that is only if your flu is really severe or you develop other complications? Does anyone have any words of comfort? Is there any point seeing a doctor, as what is done is done now and I just need to get over it, right?

Hi - phone your gp as there is something they can give you if you have flu.
I was really ill around 11 weeks and they prescribed me something straight away I didn't end up taking it as I think it was just bad cold and my chills had stopped. But do give them a call put your mind at ease xx

Thank you! I will call the doctor in the morning. It's been five days now and no improvement.
