Hello!
I’m 37 weeks pregnant with my first child and I was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis a few months ago. I had a “massive” clot in my left thigh/groin, and I’ve been on Clexane injections twice daily. I’ve been told I have to take them for a minimum of 6 months.
I have an appointment with the obstetrician next week where it’ll be discussed what options I have, but there’s been talk of a planned induction date, or a c-section. I just wondered if anyone else out there has had a similar experience with DVT during pregnancy, and what happened with your labour?
