I'm 16 1/2 weeks pregnant, and I'm starting to wake up once or twice a night to pee when I get back into bed I'm wide awake and usually can't fall back asleep until early hours in the morning when the birds start whistling I tried keeping My eyes half closed when getting up to pee in an effort to stay tired but it never works ! Has anyone got any tips or tricks?

Sleep stories on the Calm app!

I'm not pg but I do wake in the night. I have my headphones nearby and I either put on my audiobook on a 15 minute sleep timer or I listen to a meditation to get me back to sleep.

I am 16 weeks and have exactly this problem. Last night used a sleep story and it worked!

I am also a nighttime pee-er and I usually put on a podcast and somehow I fall back asleep within minutes. I have to keep replaying the same podcast multiple times to try to get to the end of it as I keep falling asleep!

@Fleabea so the trick seems to be listening to things? Don't usually listen to podcasts but will give it a go tonight

I will agree with the podcasts. I'm currently 19 weeks and can make it to around 3 or 4 am before I need to pop one on but usually does the trick! Xx

BBC Sounds 'Sleeping Forecast' or a pod cast-off choice. If it's after 4am I listen to Steve Allan on LBC, his voice is very calming for me.
