has anyone had 2 chemical pregnancies and successfully conceived the third time? Please let me know. I’ve had two so far and I’m anxious about it happening again x

How long did you bleed during your chemical pregnancy? And how did you know you were fertile again x @overthinkersanonnymus

When I started trying I had at least five. Every cycle I would get ‘pregnant’ on a digital and faint lines. I put myself on low dose aspirin and the next cycle one stuck and I had dd1. When I tried to conceive again a few years later, I got pregnant straight away but miscarried at 11 weeks, took the aspirin again and next cycle I was having dd2.

overthinkersanonnymus · 01/12/2022 13:46

@Ttc95x it was as the length as a normal period but a bit heavier. If I'd not tested early, I'd never have known because I came on on the right day too. So my next fertile window was exactly the same as always (this cycle)

I'm hoping there isn't a second one on the cards for me this time

Can I ask - how do you know you’ve had chemical pregnancies.

are you taking FRER tests? - because I was too and I stopped during TTC because I always, always had faint pink lines - visible to both me and DP so wasn’t ‘line eyes’ - I found first response absolutely notorious for faint lines. I assumed chemical pregnancies 3 or 4 times before I thought to switch tests, ended up using the cheap coop ones and a couple months of negatives later I got my positive.. now he’s just learning to walk 🥰

I would switch tests, the stress of possible chemical pregnancies will likely be effecting you too. Good luck! Xx

Ttc95x · 01/12/2022 14:07

@Smearywindowsagain when did you start taking the aspirin? Was it after you found out you was pregnant or before your fertile window? X

@MickeyMouseShithouse I took digital tests as well as frer. I had postive on both for two days then it changed to negative and my period shortly followed x

Hi. I had two. I got pregnant the third time immediately after my chemical and this little bean is cooking nicely now, I’ve just had a scan measuring 9 weeks and all is well ❤️

Ttc95x · 01/12/2022 18:21

@bubble55 congratulations I’m so happy there’s light at the end of the tunnel. What was your time line for your three pregnancies and what did you do differently the third time? X

@Ttc95x from my first pregnancy to this one, it was 4 months. So three pregnancies in 4 months. After two I was so scared of it happening again I tried anything I could. I took aspirin from day 1 of my “period” (first day of my chemical) and pregnacare as well as an extra folic acid. I was then prescribed progesterone at 6 weeks. Good luck xx

Thank you for getting back to me. How many mg of aspirin did you take? And in terms of the progesterone how did you get that prescribed was it due to the previous two chemicals?
Lastly pregnacare conception tablets right? And how many mg folic x

Sorry for all
my questions its good to finally speak to someone who’s been through the same
thing I have ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@Ttc95x I took 150mg of aspirin (and still do. Midwife is fine with it). I just took one folic acid your big standard in a tub from the supermarket and pregnacare conception until the packet finished and I take the pregnancy ones now. I aren’t medical obviously so did this on my own back but it’s strange how this one stuck and the others didn’t. Maybe it’s just luck or coincidence I’ll never know. The EPU scanned me at 6 week due to my losses and prescribed progesterone there and then. My GP didn’t want to know. Xx
