I was recently admitted at 29 weeks for 4 days with threatened pre term labour, I was having lower back pain and period type cramps (CTG monitoring didn't pick these up as contractions), lost small amounts of plug and had a positive pre-term labour swab. I was discharged once symptoms had subsided and no changes to cervix had been detected.
Since being home and back on my feet a bit more the cramps have picked back up which is frustrating but I do wonder whether it's just late pregnancy and me finding him being head down uncomfortable. It's hard to know!
I'm seeing the consultant weekly going forward, but not until early next week and as I was admitted elsewhere not my local hospital I'm not sure what the plan will be. Just wondering if anyone had similar, did it progress, did they induce or do an ELCS earlier than usual?
