Hello, I just had my 30 weeks anatomy scan and saw the uploaded result today. Everything is normal with the exception of an "echogenic focus noted below the right kidney in the bowel area." I have yet to speak to a doctor about this and I'm freaking out until I do. I did have a positive first trimester screening for D.S which was eventually cleared negative with an NIPT test. I do know that the NIPT test isn't 100% accurate though. The echogenic focus in the bowel can also have other abnormality indications. Has anyone dealt with this? What was your experience? I'm feeling extra nervous since I'm farther down my pregnancy now.
