Test showing 2-3 weeks pregnant but have bleeding

My last period started on 8th Nov. My husband and I dtd on 17th Nov (we are ttc but not even ovulated yet on this cycle according
to opks) but I had spotting afterwards so went to docs next day and on the 22nd a nurse told me it was possibly down to cervical erosion and she could see this on my cervix from a physical exam.

since then every time my husband and I have had sex - every 2/3 days - I have bled afterwards. I’ve also started getting symptoms such as needing to pee with urgency, constipation, no appetite and bloating. I’ve had cramping on my left side but this has been ongoing for the last few months since my periods started back after breastfeeding.

I am now at the stage where these symptoms have led me to believe it could be something more sinister and to rule pregnancy out I randomly did a test tonight, and it says 2-3 weeks on a clear blue. how accurate are these if the urine sample was taken at night? I know it says to do it with fmu.

This would mean I conceived on the 17th, on only day 10 of my cycle (I usually ovulate late), but I’ve been bleeding more since then and much more than when the nurse said it was from cervical erosion. Could this mean I have maybe had a miscarriage and I’m still bleeding from it? I have read the pregnancy test can show positive for some time after a miscarriage.

The digital tests aren’t super sensitive so I’d say if you’re getting 2-3wks with evening urine your levels of hcg must be pretty decent. If you’ve only had light spotting I would assume implantation over a miscarriage tbh. With my early miscarriage it was very obvious what it was sadly.

I’ve taken three other tests today and got three very positive positives. I’m still bleeding though. Not spotting, but a pink/red blood every time I wipe. Not filling a pad but maybe a tsp of blood since this morning with little streaks of blood clots in the toilet when I wee so I’m thinking maybe it’s a medical miscarriage. No cramping or anything yet but I guess that may come. I have been to the docs today and they have said they will refer me for a scan.

@Jellywellyfish how did you get on? Hope you are ok. I’m having the same cervical erosion debates in my mind and it’s driving me crazy. I’m 5-6 weeks pregnant, my hcg levels are increasing but I’ve been on / off bleeding for about 5 days now. Praying it’s my erosion / ectropion. Going for another scan on Thursday to hopefully see a yolk sac / heartbeat. Hope you are ok! Xx
