I work part time and was wondering if there is any benefit for qualifying for maternity pay or not as I am not sure whether to up my hours at work .
I think you get 90% of your pay or 156£ whichever is lower, whether you qualify for either?

Depends how far along you are as the 'average' pay is based on the period 8 weeks before your qualifying week (15wks before due date) so if you are past this it won't make a difference if you earn more now. Hope that helps.
