Short cervix

I had a cervical scan last week (at 20 weeks) to check the length and it was borderline for intervention (25.7mm) so I'm on progesterone and will have another scan next week to make sure it's not getting shorter.
Has anyone else had this and the progesterone hasn't worked and the cervix has got shorter? I'm worried I might need a stitch.
I had the scan because my previous birth was an emergency c section while I was fully dilated, and the sonographer and consultant I saw last week both seemed to imply my cervix had been damaged because of that.
I'm a bit worried about preterm labour now but keeping my fingers crossed the progesterone is doing its job!

Has anyone had a short cervix that has gotten longer the next week?!
I had a scan 2 weeks ago and cervix was 25mm and a week later was 33mm. I’m under pre term labour clinic due to having lletz in 2015. Thanks!
