Hi,
I recently got pregnant unexpectedly and due to just moving abroad and starting a new job mixed with having extreme morning sickness to the point I was bed bound for 3 weeks, I decided to terminate the pregnancy. It’s been 7 weeks since the abortion and I had my period on week 5/6. However, I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it’s still faintly positive. Is this possible or could I be pregnant again. I’m so guilty about the whole situation and secretly am wishing that I’m pregnant.

It could be retained products. You need to call you ever did the termination for advice. They may need to rescan you or it might be a case of waiting for another period to get rid of anything left behind. If there is a risk you are pregnant again you need to conscious this could also be the case.

It could be either if you have had unprotected sex. As above, talk to the clinic that processed the abortion as could mean retained product. If it's a new pregnancy the lines intensity will increase, if not they won't.
