NHS antenatal classes

Hi, my midwife said in October that she had booked me onto my local NHS antenatal classes in December. I had a midwife appointment 2 weeks ago and asked for the dates of the classes. I was told that the midwife didn't know the dates but would let me know!
I finish work in 5 weeks and have to train my maternity cover in that time (they don't start until next week so very little time). Has anyone else had this? Work are rightly asking when I need time off and I still don't know, I have certain dates I can't get off and I don't think there will be time for me to do classes in January because they book up so quick.
If it helps I'm in Scotland and my health board uses badger notes, would I usually find out dates here or just from the midwife? How long do classes last? I know they will still be online unfortunately which makes things slightly easier but I'd rather meet other mum's.

I had to book my own antenatal classes through our NHS trust's website, but I'm in England so I don't know if that is different. They were 1.5 hours each and we attended two (one on labour etc and one on feeding and sleeping). And ours were face to face, at the hospital, rather than online

Every trust is different so unless someone is in your area under the same trust you might not get the correct answer. I am in Essex and my trust do not offer antenatal classes. I am going to NCT classes and have booked onto some online antenatal sessions via UK Babies.
