Maternity Allowance Application

Anyone that's recently applied for Maternity Allowance, how long did it take for you to get your decision?

I've just sent my form off today!

Hi, they text me a week after I posted the form saying they had received it and would give me a decision within 4 week and then it was about 1 and a half weeks after the text I received the decision letter.

Yeah I thought so as well, when I was looking online people were saying there’s a back log so I panicked. Yeah I received the text 1st November. When they send the decision they send it with a form you have to send back once you finish work, I finish Friday so will post it off Friday/Saturday then hopefully payments don’t take too long.

Ah ok thank you @TiredMomma90 when I looked online it was saying upto 20 working days for a decision. Hopefully I'll find out before Christmas 😊

The postal strikes just don't help 🙄

I got the text on Monday to say they've received my form, now the wait begins 😬
