There’s no delicate way of putting this so just gonna out with it, my vagina smells really bad (sorry, did warn you!).

Never been a problem before pregnant (18 weeks now) and doing all the ‘right’ things - cotton underwear, washing with water only etc.

Dr Google tells me scent changes in pregnancy are normal and due to hormones, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this as it certainly doesn’t feel normal! No other symptoms of infection but wondering whether it’s BV or something. Currently waiting for a call from my midwife but wondering if anyone else can relate?

When I had BV, my vagina literally stunk of trash, like an old bag of trash in your kitchen that should have gone out for bin day. It says online there's usually a fishy odour, but I did not have that at all. With BV I used to get excruciating pain, and I mean excruciating pain in my stomach, it would almost come in waves. It would literally stop me in my tracks. I've not had it during pregnancy though. You can get self testing kits now to check if you have thrush or BV, pretty sure you can buy them in most chemist. Hope this helps and you get sorted x
