Best week for 4d scan

currently 21 weeks pregnant and we want to have a 4d scan to see our baby boy - what week would people recommend ??:)

I have an anterior placenta and I went for a 4d scan at 27 weeks it was the perfect time to go for one . when it gets a bit further on say 34 weeks you don't see as much because space is tight lol

We went at just before 28 weeks, I think between 27-29 weeks is best when I read up about it, after that there's not much room in there!

3d/4d scans, or any fetal ultrasound scans for non-medical reasons, are not advised. There are risks to ultrasounds if not used correctly (e.g. keeping the probe in one place for too long, or at high intensity, which is needed in a 4d scan) - and often these places are not properly trained on ultrasound safety. It's not worth it for a souvenir photo.
