Hello

I am 4 days over, never have been, boobs are sore and slight cramps.
Could somebody please shed some light on these tests and whether I’m looking to hard.
Is the clear blue one light? And the other is a Tesco test which I know is notorious for false positive, but possibly has a faint cross?

thanks in advance!

@Jlo900 i feel like I can kind of see something on the cheap test, did you track ovulation this cycle? X

FlamingoBabe · 27/11/2022 18:33

I can’t see anything Sorry OP. I think at 4 days late for your period, you’d expect to see a definite line. Have you tried first morning wee? That will probably give you a sure answer. Good luck x

Basilthymerosemary · 27/11/2022 18:35

Sorry OP. Can't see a second line. X

PinkButtercups · 28/11/2022 00:05

I can see a faint bottom line on the Tesco one but the actual lines aren't very clear so wouldn't trust that test. I can't see anything on the Clear Blue test and being 4 days late you'd expect it to be darker. Sorry OP.

Hi all,
Thanks for all your replies.
I’ve done a first response this morning and there is a slight line. What do you think 🤞🏻

@Jlo900 i do see something on there, does it have any colour in person? Maybe you ovulated later than you thought and you’re still really early x

signedoffworried · 28/11/2022 09:14

I see something on the frer, but that's the shade of line I get normally at 8 or 9 dpo, several days before my period is due. My 4 days over it's always been the strongest possible lines and positives on digital tests. Maybe you ovulated much much later than normal? Did you take an ovulation tests?

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 28/11/2022 09:16

They all look negative to me I'm afraid. Wait a few days and test again.

Jlo900 · 28/11/2022 09:19

Yes it is very slightly pink. We thought we conceived on 4th or 5th of November, period ended on the 1st on November.
As it’s light it means we conceived later isit? x

I can see a line.

Jlo900 · 28/11/2022 09:31

I’m new to all this as you can probably tell 😂

@Jlo900 yeah I agree with @signedoffworried that it looks like a very early positive rather than one after your period is due so you probably ovulated much later than the 4th as by now your lines would be very dark xx

firsttimelondonmummy · 28/11/2022 14:03

@Jlo900 I really hope you are but for context these were my tests on the day of my missed period.
My period was the 14th of September, I came off around the 19th we conceived either the 22nd or 23rd and I was testing strongly positive by the 12th.
Tests in the images were the 12th (bottom) 13th (first CB) 14th (CB digi)

I told myself maybe the hcg levels were different/less of. I was peeing more often, boobs hurt and 5 days over, planned well. I was sure I saw a slight line on yesterday’s test but looking at the one from this morning it’s hardly there.
An hour ago I started cramping and bleeding, really heavy cramps and sore back! I was so sure, I’m really gutted.

thanks for all your replies xx

Hard not to be gutted, but if this is your first time trying, I wouldn't worry. Keep going and have fun (try to) in the process x

1994girl · 28/11/2022 21:33

I would say no

dontbringthatbirdinhere · 28/11/2022 21:37

I think perhaps a chemical pregnancy OP. I can see the hint of a line on both, but you'd expect it to be much darker by 4 days after your missed period.

If you still don't get your period in a couple of days try testing again, as you may have ovulated later than you though.

I think it is, I was never this late. The cramps are really painful lasted all night and lots of bleeding, the fact that there was a faint line on the tests too.
If it is a chemical pregnancy shouldn’t the bleeding have stopped now? Then am I just on my period? cramps are so bad it doesn’t feel like a regular period.
