Hi all. I'm 28weeks and today feel like i could kill some1! I have a 2year old daughter whos into everything at the moment, messing up the house with pens and play makeup, not doin as shes told acually shes jus being a normal 2yearold to be fair. I want to go out and mix but have no confidence, went out yesterday just to the park n shops but im getting to that stage wher i cant walk far as the pain in my bladder is just to much. My partners at work but his phone isnt workin so i cant bug him. I want to sleep so bad but cant as my daughter needs me. Ne 1 feel the same?

Hi buzzybee,

Is there anyone else you can call to let off stream? Or maybe someone may be able to take your wee one for an hour let you sleep for a bit?
Poor you I am 37 weeks and I am really struggling too.
Try to arrange some you time even if its only for half an hour.

Aww babe its no wonder your feeling crap. How are you feeling today? I know this must be a hard time for you but try if you can just to take a walk to somewhere peaceful and let your daughter run around and exhaust herself hopefully when you get back home you will feel a bit better and your daughter will be too tired to run circles round you. Failing this talk to your midwife or GP and tell them that you are feeling really low. Take all the help you can get.
Do you have a partner or a close friend you could chat to?
I know what it feels like to be alone. I moved to Portsmouth from Edinburgh and the only person I know is my partner.

hiya buzzy, your not alone. i don't have a toddler, but i am home most the time, bored with no motivation.
I went to a local aquanatal class in the hope of making new friends, only one other lady turned up!
Then i get stroppy when my dp comes home from work and decides he's popping out for an hour to see a mate or something.
I'm on ad's so i think thats more than half of my problem. Maybe you could do with someone to talk to. Least you got mumsnet eh ?

My ex was a driving instructor and taught me how to drive. Its a great achievement when you pass your test!
I had everything ready by 32 weeks!!! I started getting contractions at 32 weeks thankfully the labour ward were able to stop them but I was told they could start again at anytime so I thought I better get everything ready!!!
Why dont you wait until your baby is born until you buy a pram? All you really need is a car seat to take him or her home?

Hi buzzzy, come join us on the due in may thread in antenatal-we're a friendly bunch! My DD is just over 2 and (gulp) even though I'm out at work a lot,but my day with my DD is the hardest day of the week. DD HAS to go in her cot for an hour in the afternoon and play quietly if not napping- I need a rest and really CAN'T cope. Very impressed with you coping most of the time. I'm completely with you with very short fuse- it just doesn't mix with a 2 yr old but I can't help it.Saying that, she's had a nap today ( not as long as me ) and Cbeebies is my saviour- despite her not watching telly at home until I was pg!
Good luck buzzybee- and it aint going to get easier.....
