What was your heartrate at 6.6 weeks?

I have had several miscarriages so I am nervous about this pregnancy ending badly too. I had a scan today at 6.6 weeks. The measurements were spot on but I am worried about the heartrate being too slow. It was 115/116, anybody with a heartrate like this and a successful outcome?

Heart rate at 6 weeks has absolutely no baring on a pregnancy. Where did you get this information from? We don't measure heart rate during early pregnancy.

Cuddlywuddlies · 26/11/2022 16:35

Most ppl don’t have a scan at that point so they would never know@Sunshine085 I’m sure all is fine.

BraveFaceScaredInside · 26/11/2022 16:43

Google says that rate is perfectly normal x

Darthwazette · 26/11/2022 16:44

I stressed about this like mad when pregnant with my twins. It didn’t help that their HB were wildly different but both were fine x

LBFseBrom · 26/11/2022 16:47

That's your blood pressure and is perfectly fine.

Sorry, I misread.
I think I'll retire for a while :).

@wildpeaches I read a study or something earlier that suggested that if the heartrate is under 120 between 6.3 to 7 weeks it's a higher chance for miscarriage within the first trimester.
I also had spotting this morning before the scan that freak me out.

@Cuddlywuddlies I understand that but a lot of people also don't have miscarriage after miscarriage and the anxiety that comes with it.

@Darthwazette how different were they and that early on or later in pregnancy?

@BraveFaceScaredInside that's what my partner said but when I google I read other stuff.

I need to relax but its hard. Thanks for all your replies.

Please stop googling and reading dodgy studies ( or somethings) and trust your midwife and sonographers. There is all sorts of made up rubbish on the internet and it won't help your anxiety.

Sawa75 · 26/11/2022 20:09

The studies you read are correct. I had a scan at 7 weeks and the baby measured 5+6 and heart rate 76. And I miscarried. Next baby had a heart rate of 119 at 7+2 and he's 19 months now and perfect

Sawa75 · 26/11/2022 20:12

To add, actually I think my son was 7+3 or that scan and I totally freaked out as the rate was under 120 but as I said he is perfect. I think the risk is for under 120 before 7.5 weeks from what I remember

*at that scan
