Gestational sac growing slowly

Hi guys,

so I’ve read a few threads about this topic but I haven’t found a thread where the Original Poster would also update about the outcome of their situation so I thought I’d ask.
I had an early scan 8 days ago because of some spotting and I measured 5w2d..
I had another scan today 8 days later because 2 days ago I bled bright red blood and it looks like my gestational sac hasn’t grown much and today I measured 5w5d..
Has anyone been in a similar situation? I don’t have much hope but was just wondering..

Thank you

I had a slow growing pregnancy which ended in miscarriage. Sorry OP, wish you a different outcome.

Hi SiberFox, thank you for your reply. I´m sorry to hear about your loss. Can I ask how you managed your miscarriage? I mean did you wait for it to happen naturally or did you choose a different option?

Thank you

@Tonkinka2803 I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks that stopped growing around 6-7, and given it wasn't coming out naturally I opted for medical management (pills; didn't want to do D&C for fear of causing scarring). Worked for me - I passed the tissue within 2 days as expected and after that had almost like a normal period, the most unpleasant bit was the passing but it was short and manageable with paracetamol. Physically it was okay, emotionally much harder but I took a few months to recover and then fell pregnant again, all going well this time. Best of luck to you x

That´s great, really happy to hear that everything is going OK with your pregnancy now :) ..
I just want this to be over with. Seems like forever till Friday. I´m also scared of D&C so will probably opt for the pills even though I´d love for the nature to take its course. But as it hasn´t happened by now I really doubt it will have happened by Friday, I don´t have any cramps or anything. I hate being in this limbo 😫Thank you, anyway, and best of luck to you too :) x
