Baby had her first injections this morning, she had her first dose of calpol straight after and she seemed fine and was still smiling etc, she's woke up from her nap and I've never heard screaming like it. She won't have her bottle, she just sounds like she's in so much pain !! Is this normal? She's due her next lot of calpol in 30 mins

My first was like this, cried for hours on end. We found standing up holding him upright supporting bum with legs dangling was the most comfy position for him and had him most settled. Once they settle then you can retry the bottle and hopefully itll go down well. Its horrible seeing them in pain, I feel for you. If you feel that anything is not right though don't hesitate to call 111. They're so little it's best to be safe.

My DC was like this after first jabs. Slept after first calpol and started screaming almost exactly four hours later. Skin to skin helped soothe them and when the second calpol dose kicked in they were much better. Didn’t have the same reaction to the next lot.

Thank you. I can't remember my ds being like this ?? It was nearly ten years ago though!
I've managed to get the next dose of calpol down her and hope she can relax and have a little sleep, poor thing, it's a cry I've never heard from her before
