Bfp after timeframe but pregnancy symptoms

Hi all,

I feel like an idiot writing this but here goes...

I've had 2 bfp (images below). Lines are defo blue, so not evap. However, these appeared after the timeframe. Although, there was an immediate blue smidge in the window.

I'm also experiencing pregnancy symptoms. Extremely queasy and nauseous for the past 1.5 weeks. Sore boobs, thirst. I have no way of knowing when I ovulated because I have PCOS. Last time I had sex was 15 days ago and was my potential ovulation day according to app, but again I have PCOS so unreliable.

I had a miscarriage 2 years ago at 8 weeks and I have 2 children, both of which I had hyperemesis (extreme sickness) so could explain the nausea before the bfp.

Does anyone have any advice on what might be happening? Am I about to go through another miscarriage? Or is this a chemical with small amounts of HCG which only shows up after the tests been sat there for an hour?

I would say these are all symptoms I experience before a period anyway. However, what's caught my attention this time is that my nausea has lasted so long and I have it throughout the day, coupled with what appears to be a blue line bfp albeit out of the time frame.

Unless I have a some other type of stomach ulcer that's causing this.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Sorry no pictures attached.
If a positive came up after the timeframe then I wouldn’t count it as a positive test. Most of mine loon positive after the time frame and from experience, a positive, even a faint one, shows up quite quickly.

Id make an appointment with your gp to get bloods done. You might be late or your stomach ulcer may be making you feel more unwell and making your period late.

Thanks for your reply.

Will try to re-send the pics. I think you're right about the GP. Just didn't want to make a fuss for something with the GP.

It’s definitely not making a fuss, explain the situation and your past. Ask for bloods to confirm if you’re pregnant and support for the stomach ulcer. I certainly hope it’s a bfp for you!

Sorry but they look like evap lines to me but might look better in person. Are you late? From my own experience, the pregnancy symptoms were pretty much the same as period symptoms and sometimes I can feel sick for a full day or days on end.

Thanks!

Its such a huge emotional rollercoaster, particularly when you see a positive test and all the emotions that go with it are insane!

I'm not sure if I have an ulcer, i just dont know what other cause for this long nausea could be.

Will call the drs tom and take it from there.

Really appreciate your response. 😊

Any thoughts on the pictures of the test? Do they look like they could be evap lines? I assumed they turned blue if hcg is detected, otherwise they remain a greyish. Mind you, they are thin!

These next few days will be a quite a journey...😒

Generally my period starts about 11-12 days after my breasts become sore, without fail. I just dont remember when my boobs went sore this cycle. If I had to guess I'm between day 11-13. Thus AF is imminent!

Sorry they look like Evap lines. Clear blue is pretty bad for this. They look greyish for the first few minutes but if you check them after the timeframe then you see an evap line. My evap lines look like this if I use clear blue.

Id suggest buying a different brand of pregnancy test and only checking within the timeframe.Once the timeframe is up then bin the test as it is no longer accurate. You might start any day now as you might be having strong period pains. If you’re late by a few days and still negative tests then boom an appointment with the doctor.
