Hi everyone. Did anyone else get a dull achey/crampy stomach fee1ing in early pregnancy. I'm 6 weeks, and feeling really sick but also have this kind of crampy feeling. I had it with DD until 16 weeks and it worried me then as much as it's worrying me now. Any advice welcome thanks.

Apparently it can be a normal symptom. I had it, can't remember for how long.
Congratulations!

I've felt fairly crampy and uncomfortable from day one TBH. I suspect it is the sickness making you feel this way.

I had really bad M/Sickness and always felt like there was something in my stomach dragging it down.

I'm sure you are fine but call your mid wife for a bit of reassurance

I felt like I was going to get my period for weeks during early pregnany. I didn't really believe that I was actually pregnant until I saw my dd on the scan at 12 weeks!

Jaynee, with all of my pregnancies (I have 3 DC) I was convinced my AF was about to start at any time, felt like the dull ache you associate with your period. It subsided each time by about 12 weeks. HTH

Does the cramping happen all the time or just occassional. They do say that you can experience period like pains around the time that your period would be due, i had this 1st time round!! It could also just be muscles adjusting to your pregnant state as they have to soften up, i know it early days but i put my back out with dd2 at about 8 weeks and i had only picked up the washing basket from off the floor. My doc said my bones would be softening up due to hormones and wouldn't have taken much to put back out!!!

Thanks guys, it does feel quite period like which isn't nice, but re-assured by the sickness.

Hello,

I had it with both pregs. First time round i was convinced my period was about to start, fely moody etc, sore boobs(obviously!), dull periody type pain and i remember feeling really wet like i had come on.I would frantically to the loo to find it was just discharge!

Exactly same second time around! The only thing both times with me, was i felt so sick that i was reassured a lot.

Jaynee, I was just the same with all my pregnancies, kept on checking etc, but with my 3rd to make matters worse I kept on having spotting incidents!! Oh the panic! But she's 4 months old now and a delight!
