Hi, just wondering if anyone has had the same experience or can help me out. I had a confined miscarriage in July and are now in the early pregnancy stages (4week) so I wanted to get my hcg levels checked just for some piece of mind however, gp has said I need to book an appointment to discuss my concerns then go from there which is another two week away. Is there anything els I can do? I’m trying to keep as calm as possible. Any advice would be amazing :)

I tried to get my levels checked in my last pregnancy as I knew something was wrong but neither the GP nor the EPU would do it. I think unless you get private blood tests, all you can do is take a cheap pregnancy test every other day and see if the lines get darker as that's a small indication of whether or not HCG is rising.

@Cc12349 hi! Congratulations :) I'm 4 weeks today too and had a miscarriage in Feb so also really anxious. I got my bloods taken at a private clinic on Tuesday which was quite expensive but worth it for the peace of mind. But yes doing tests to check line progression would be another way and in a week you could do the test with the weeks indicator to see if it's gone up?

Thank you!! Congratulations too!! I’ve a private scan booked in at 7 weeks + 6 but think I’m defiantly going the take some more tests ;)
