Forgot to take a dose of progesterone

I take 2 progesterone pesseries a day due to previous mc’s. I forgot to take it last night before bed. Will this be ok? I’m quite (that’s a lie, I’m very) anxious this time due to previous losses so got myself a bit worked up. I’m 8 weeks. Thanks x

Can you ask your midwife/the person who prescribed the pessaries?

Just take the next one as prescribed and you will be fine. X

Don't worry about it, the odd missed dose won't make any difference.

They don't even know how much progesterone helps, they just prescribe it on the basis that it won't hurt and might help. At 8 weeks your placenta will be starting to take over progesterone production anyway.

Do you have any scans booked before the 12 week scan?

@babyjellyfish i have had an NHS one at 6 and a private at 7 and baby had grown by then, perfect measurements both time and a heartbeat on both x

I was on progesterone from 6wks for bleeding, definitely missed one here and there, and all looked OK at 8wk and 12wk scans.
