Symptoms gone at 8 weeks

I'm 8+2 and since yesterday my m/s has gone. I was so ill I was put on cariban and now I'm completely fine. I woke up this morning and my boobs weren't sore either. We saw the heartbeat on Friday and it was 161.

I had a mmc at 9.5 weeks last year so I'm panicking

totally fine. work in sonography and symptoms should not reassure you - what causes the symptoms is actually more to do with the yolk sac and other hormones which would still be present in a mmc, so even if you did have symptoms this is not a telltale sign that everything is fine so losing them is equally nothing to worry about

also i think a good majority of women i scan at about 8-10 weeks say exactly the same and everything is fine

Really common. My first pregnancy I had minimal symptoms and they were all gone by 7 weeks. Everything was fine. Every pregnancy is different and a lot of us don’t have loads of sickness etc.

I had no symptoms at all except for being sick once in the whole 9 months !
( except for the bump and baby kicking from 19 weeks !)

I've booked in for a private scan this morning.

Hi I had the same thing happen last week at 8 weeks too. This is my first time being pregnant after ivf so I'm finding it hard not to worry about every little thing. I had a private scan 2 days after my symptoms went and everything was fine. Symptoms still havn't really come back but I'm trying to tell myself to be grateful I don't feel sick anymore! You hear about this happening so much at 8 weeks probably because that's when hormones start to stabilise but I know no matter how many times you tell yourself it's normal you can't help but worry. I hope everything goes well at your scan.

Everything was perfect at the scan. Baby measuring spot on and heartbeat 175!

Aww that's great news! My little blob had a heartbeat of 175 too. Hope you can relax a bit now, at least for a few days!

You take care of yourself and try to relax and look forward to your baby .
Not easy of course as this is the most exciting and important thing we ever do … grow and deliver a baby !

So glad to hear everything was ok I'm 8 weeks and symptoms have gone as well and was freaking out glad to hear this is normal x
