Hello, and thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this. I was hoping for a bit of advice.
I had a recurrent uti a few weeks back and was prescribed cipro 250mg BD for five days. I finished the course but I am now a bit worried, as my period is late.
If I were to be pregnant it would be a lovely surprise but also I am now worried as cipro is not to be prescribed unless all other treatments have been considered.
My cycle is very regular and is every 28 days. Which would put my ovulation date at around the 3rd of Nov. For reference I took the antibiotics on the 13th of Nov.
I am not too sure if any damage is possible this early on?
I am trying to not overthink, and I will take a pregnancy test tomorrow. Until then I was hoping for some words of reassurance (if possible). Or to hear from people who have also taken or known of someone to of taken cipro in early pregnancy.
