Hi - first trimester mumma to be. Any recommendations for calming nerves? Currently in single digit pregnancy weeks and have booking appointment plus scan booked but how do I calm the worries between now and then.?

Honest answer, you don't. Pregnancy is an anxious time, especially before the scans and appointments kick in (and then later on you have the anxiety over amount of baby movements etc). Easier said than done, but just try to relax and take your mind off of it as much as possible, because you've hopefully got 8 odd months of this to come, and you'll drive yourself crazy. Sending all the absolute best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!!

Thank you canyoutoleratethis. Trying to breathe and relax. Taking it one day at a time.

I'm afraid I don't think I have any useful advice but just thought I'd say I'm in the same boat and also really worrying so watching with interest. All best wishes for your pregnancy op and congrats :) x

@thimsBARKER I am a naturally anxious person.
I booked a couple of early scans 7 weeks and 9 weeks and this really helped me personally.
