Reassurance- minor car accident

Just looking for some reassurance from other mamas I guess. I was in a very minor car accident the other day, was stopped in traffic, completely stationary and the driver behind me bumped into the back of me, very minimal damage to my car but my head and shoulders got a fair jolt. Slight mark on my neck from the seatbelt but nothing across my tummy. I'm 25 weeks pregnant so I did go into my maternity hospital to get checked over. Heart trace was perfect, ultrasound scan of baby looked good, no waters, no pains, no bleeding so from an acute perspective no damage done which was a big relief. Literally couldn't have gotten more good/reassuring news. Baby is as active as ever. Now my silly over thinking first time pregnant brain is in overdrive worrying that there may be unseen long lasting damage to the baby that won't be apparent til birth/ as it develops in its first few years of life. I suppose I am looking for some good news stories from other mums who have been in similar situations and their babies are now well babies/toddlers/children.

I had the exact same scenario at pretty much the same stage of pregnancy and pleased to report my now six year old shows no signs whatsoever of having come to any harm! It's the only time I've ever been involved in any kind of car accident and even though it was just a shunt it did shake me up a bit, so I can understand why you're (in the nicest possible way) totally overthinking this. Your baby will be fine.

Very similar situation as me! I was 30 weeks pregnant, car went into the back of me just after going straight over a junction as cars in front slowed. I very nearly didn't go into hospital but because I was rhesus negative and we didn't know if baby was or wasn't, we thought it was best that I got the anti D injection to be on the safe side and just get checked over. Baby was born 6 weeks later (prematurity totally unrelated to the car accident) and now she's a healthy 16 month old.

Someone went into the back of me at 38 weeks, baby arrived a couple of days before due date no problems. I didn't actually go to the hospital because she was moving around fine and I had no pain.
