Hi all, I’m just looking to see if anyone has any similar experiences!

I’m 7 weeks on Wednesday 💕

On Friday afternoon I went to the loo, wiped and saw a bit of watery pink, left it over an hour and went again and when I wiped there was more and a bit darker but still watery and not like proper blood.

Got home and wiped again and just a little bit of brown. Since this I’ve had mostly nothing, but from time to time some brown discharge, yesterday morning watery and this morning a bit more sticky (photos below)

Since this morning nothing at all!

No cramps, and still feeling symptoms I’ve had on and off so far.

I’ve got a scan booked for Friday but could do with a chat and hand hold.

Photos are the varying degrees I’ve seen (sorry if TMI!) 🙈

I had the same ,my baby is 21 now. It's very common so might not be anything wrong,it doesn't stop the worrying though 💐

thelma57 · 20/11/2022 15:47

Thanks so much for responding @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor 💕

I had an early loss in December last year so every little thing has me worrying and in bits!

It could be something, unfortunately, or it could be nothing!

I had a miscarriage in August that began with infrequent brown spotting (only a tiny amount). But, after a week or so progressed to pink and then red. I was early so even through the worse of the bleeding, I never cramped. The only 'pain' was mild back ache.

I got pregnant again the following month and had bright red spotting, which turned pink and then brown. Had a scan a couple of weeks later (was too early to see anything before then as I wasn't even 4 weeks at the time of the spotting). Tiny baby measuring 5-6 weeks with heartbeat was seen! 🥰 I've had more spotting on and off
since (some light red, some brown). My second scan also showed a healthy baby at 8+2weeks. Hoping nothing has changed since then when I got to my 12 week scan on Friday.

I hope, for us both, the spotting we've had isn't a bad sign!! Good luck with your upcoming scan - be sure to update 😊

Sorry about your loss in August @B1993 ❤️

It’s such a hard time and so confusing! I think especially cos it was pink and then brown, not the other way around!

When I had my loss in December it started with brown and then quickly turned into red heavy bleeding.

All I can do is wait and see I suppose 🤞💕
Wishing you all the luck in the world too! X

No wonder you are on pins, so sorry to hear that. x

I've had this go both ways, my first pregnancy was a blighted ovum which started with early bleeding and my current pregnancy is a lovely little girl who is 22 weeks. I hope this works out for you and have my fingers crossed! Xxx

Sorry should clarify, both pregnancies had early bleeding xxx

thelma57 · 20/11/2022 18:26

Thanks for sharing @Bobduncan sorry for your previous loss but congratulations on your healthy lovely girl!
With your loss, did the bleeding start and then continue? No need to answer if you don’t want to! 💕

Hello, I'm currently 11 weeks and had pink spotting, brown discharge and even streaks of red at 6 weeks. Had a scan at 6 weeks all fine and ones at 7 weeks and 10 weeks and they looked good too. Will feel more comfortable after the 12 week scan, but my initial bleeding didn't seem to cause problems. I had brown spotting on and off for the next 3 weeks, but last two weeks the discharge has been completely clear!

Hope that helps. It's such a nerve-wracking time xxx

Bobduncan · 20/11/2022 18:39

@thelma57 my bleeding started at 6/7 weeks, just a small amount and then stopped. It then happened again when I was on holiday at about 9 weeks. I realised something wasn't right so i finally had a scan at EPU where they diagnosed blighted ovum. For my successful pregnancy, again bleeding started at 6 weeks and this time it was heavier (but probably not heavy enough to need a pad). Hope this helps and I truly hope all works out for you xxx

thelma57 · 25/11/2022 12:13

Just to update, no more blood, just some brown discharge and went for a scan today. Measuring exactly 6 weeks 4 days which is bang on for when I ovulated AND saw a beautiful heartbeat fluttering away 💕🥹💕

Ahhh congrats OP. What happy news! Congrats 👏 must have been implantation bleeding or a hematoma (which is what they said mine was!) Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy xx

SallyWD · 25/11/2022 13:01

I had this and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. When I had a miscarriage it was bright red blood. Hope all goes well.

thelma57 · 25/11/2022 14:55

Thanks so much @Bobduncan sorry I forgot to update on that!

They could see where the bleed had come from on the scan and said it was most likely old implantation bleeding that had made its way out, hopefully I won’t get anymore but they said if I get more brown spotting that’s probably what it is! 🤞💕🙏

Hello .I need your help please. Currently I'm 6 weeks pregnant and it's my first pregnancy. On 3rd January I had some brown discharge and it's 16th January still I'm facing it. I went to dr on 3rd January she said it might be harmonal imbalance and prescribed dophaston tablet for 14 days on 3rd January I also had ultrasound which was so early they only point out endometrium thickness 14mm. I'm so worried my next appointment is on Monday. But with these tab the discharge is reduce to once in 24hrs in evening without any pain or other complications.

Morning, I have an ultrasound at 6 weeks and could see the yolk sac? Could they not see that?

I never replied many years ago, unfortunately that pregnancy was a confirmed misscarriage. However I then fell pregnant again and now my 6 months old is sat playing on the floor. So girls please don't give in. I had 3 misscarriages and I thought that was it for me. It is not!!

ShyDreamer · 11/06/2025 18:23

Hi so I’m 34 yrs old and this is my first pregnancy. A couple weeks ago I took multiple tests all showing positive results, so I went to a clinic where another positive test was confirmed then an ultrasound was done but nothing could be seen in the gestational sac. So a couple days later again I went to a different hospital where a positive result and blood was taken which my bloodwork showed 36,479 HCG the next day I had to go to Galveston for a ultrasound to be done again, which the gestational sac increased in size but still no fetus. I’m losing my mind with not having any answers I’ve taken more test at home since then and all keep saying positive
