Constipation suddenly gone (13 weeks)

First time poster here! I had terrible constipation non-stop throughout my first trimester. The day I hit 13 weeks (I’m now 14 weeks), my digestion became more regular than it has ever been (sorry, TMI :-/). I know this change is probably due to normal hormonal shifts, but everything I read says the constipation should get worse around this time, not better. After two previous losses, it is hard not to worry. Has anyone experienced something similar?

You might have eaten a more fibrous diet/ had lot of fluids.. enjoy while it lasts.. you might be too early to speak, it will come back with vengeance 😬 some hormonal fluctuation is bound to occur!

Thanks for your reply! I can’t think of a definite change in my diet or water intake, which is one of the reasons I’m puzzled. But maybe I changed something subtle that made a big difference.

I had the same. Terrible constipation that just suddenly disappeared at about 15 weeks. Try not to worry

Mine went away after about week 8 so it's probably totally fine

Thank you both so much for your replies! You have taken the edge off my anxiety.
