Pregnancy nesting

Is pregnancy "nesting" a thing? I just want to clean everything does that mean baby is going to arrive soon what are peoples experiences ?

I didn't have nesting until it turns out my waters had actually already gone! I was insisting we sort out babies clothes there and then and tidying and everything.. then I had a second little dribble, we went to the maternity ward and my waters had actually gone several hours before!
