Last night I had very sharp pains when I lay on either side. It lasted about half an hour and then stopped. No blood. No pain today but I'm very concerned. Booked a scan tomorrow afternoon. Has anyone had anything similar?

Sounds like ligament pain. I had lots of sharp pains in first and second trimester especially on my right side. It is quite normal and just where things are stretching and growing and moving. Glad you have a scan tomorrow for some reassurance. But no blood is a good sign. Good luck at your scan x

Around ligament pain? Used to bring me to my knees. Awful

Round ligament pain was most intense for me around that time and until well into 2nd trimester but the biggest scare was trapped gas - TMI - on 2-3 occasions which sent waves of pain across the whole abdomen area. It lasted for 30 or so mins each time and then released. Best of luck OP x

I remember having loads of random aches and pains in early pregnancy. I've got a 4 month old now. Good luck for your scan - I had an early one at 10 weeks too, it made it all so real at that point!

I’m 10 weeks and like you I’m getting lots of sharp pains and pulls. Almost stitch-like. And much earlier than with previous pregnancies. But I’ve read that round ligament pain can start from as early as 10 weeks. Your womb has grown from the size of a pear to a grapefruit so the ligaments are holding onto a lot more! I had a reassurance scan on Friday and all was well so try not to worry 💛

I would bet good money on it being ligament pain.

You can always call epu to get checked.

I had it with al pregnancies, the pain can be really bad. Warm baths and plenty of rest.
