Hi everyone, to start I don't think I am pregnant as I've had periods (irregular) for months, BUT, for the past week I have been feeling movements. I aren't talking about gas, popping etc as I've had that many times but near My belly button I have been feeling movements, last night I was laid on the sofa and felt a jab and jt took my breath away I pressed down on that area ( right side near belly button ) and low and behold, I felt a kick on my hand. Obviously now I'm going crazy, would this even be possible?
I have 4 children already, my youngest is 3, has this actually happend to anyone before?
I've read it can be muscle spasms but really? Spasms I can feel on my hand and last for days? I haven't hurt my belly or anything either. It's sooooooooo strange! Xx

I used to get this all the time and it is gas. It really does feel like a baby kicking

BabyBx · 19/11/2022 09:18

Really? So when I pressed down last night and it felt like a strong kick it's gas?
I have been feeling it for the past week but I've never felt gas this strong in my life xx

Is there a reason you haven’t just taken a pregnancy test?

BabyBx · 19/11/2022 09:23

I haven't yet because it was only last night I became aware what it might be and it freaked me out, I will be taking a test today x

It’s entirely possible to pregnant and not know. I used to work with a lady who didn’t find out she was pregnant until she was 28 weeks, she found out while she was on holiday after fainting, her first pregnancy. It happened to me too, I also have irregular periods, had been recently diagnosed with PCOS and was going through a very stressful time and thus hadn’t paid any attention to myself or my body. I discovered I was pregnant while I was in labour and sadly he was born too early to survive.

Take a test and book yourself a doctors appointment regardless of the result.
