Hello. Im 13weeks. My symptoms stopped a couple of weeks ago, I can't feel my uterus. I've had no miscarriage symptoms and everyone knows im expecting. I shared last weekend. I'm so nervous about having bad news at my scan on Monday I don't want to go.

I did see a baby with heartbeat at 7 weeks.

I know how worrying it is. My symptoms waxed and waned and I remember thinking I must've lost baby but I didn't, try not to check for symptoms and I hope all goes well at your scan Flowers

My symptoms all went quickly so it doesn't mean anything. I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine try not to worry.

Honestly, you aren't alone. Many people, myself included, have experienced such nerves on the lead up to the first big scan, almost believing it too good to be true. I have everything crossed that all is okay for you, and can tell you it is usually a lot less worrying from then usually. The 12 week scan is such a long wait. Wishing you the best x

I have my 12 week scan on Monday too! I had one at 8+5 and everything was fine but I have the same concerns - I've told some family etc and would feel awful if it isn't good news. I've just been reminding myself that there's no reason to think it's bad news, and odds are overwhelmingly in our favour x

I absolutely resonate with scan anxiety having had two MCs, each time I was a nervous wreck before seeing baby. But this time it’s been good news every time. I kept telling myself the odds are in my favour even after the losses. All the best OP x

Pregnancy symptoms have often gone by now as the placenta has taken over.

I was very anxious before my scan, I'd had previous losses and convinced myself it was bad news, I was so relieved when I was wrong.

Best of luck.

Congrats OP!

I practically had 0 symptoms with both of mine, no sickness or anything, and all went ok with mine.
It's easy to worry isn't it? But try to relax now, you've reached that important milestone.

NalaNana · 21/11/2022 15:16

Everything good for me too! So pleased for you x
