Severe upper back pain - querying gall bladder

Hi all. Currently in 3rd trimester normally fit and healthy. I have developed severe intermittent upper back pain along where bra line is almost in a band. Pain develops out of no where and gradually builds to the most out of control pain and causes me to vomit. Some mild almost preassure tight feeling to area above belly button but generally pain is in back. Tends to come early evening or late at night. Iv had scan to rule out clot, gall stones and kidney but im convinced this is my gall bladder. Im trying to track if it appears after I eat my only concern is the pain is mainly in upper back and not abdo and on google a lot of the symptoms relate to abdo mainly. pain can last hours and paracetamol provides zero relief . Can anyone share something similar

I don't have gallstones but acute gallbladder pain due to a 'non functioning gallbladder'. I had a scan where they put a dye through my gallbladder.
Long story short, when it plays up the pain is excruciating. Basically it squeezes hard causing severe upper back pain & lots of pressure. If I press hard on gallbladder area it is also very painful.
The only thing that helps is really hot water bottles and some yoga poses which target the gallbladder meridian.
I've found dehydration is a massive trigger so I have water before eating breakfast i.e as soon as i wake up a good while before breakfast.
I avoid eating a big meal if i have a completely empty stomach. So try to eat little & often and obviously nothing really fatty but to be honest
I have also found non fatty things like porridge & bananas to be a trigger.
Avoid tight clothes and compression wear around the stomach.

If there are no stones your ultrasound may be clear but it doesn't mean it's not your gallbladder. As I said, i had a HIDA scan to test gallbladder emptying.

I had a bile duct blockage from a gallstone which couldn't be seen on ultrasound but showed up on an MRI. It was also making me vomit with really bad pain and itching.

I had pancreatitis caused by a blockage in my bile duct from gallstones, 7 weeks after I gave birth. They were my exact symptoms, but my gallstones did show up on an ultrasound.

Thanks for replying. Did your gallbladder hurt when it was pressed at all?

It did! The upper part of my stomach felt really tender. I can only describe it as like I had been winded xx
