Diabeties

Been reading a few bits and pieces on here and elsewhere over the last couple of days. I have all the signs of Diabeties - tiredness, thirst and weeing a lot. GP took bloods (loads of them) yesterday and I need to wait 7-10 days for the results. It may be GD but it may be that I am just in for a rough pregnancy.

However, reading up a bit it seems that you can't actually get it until around 28 week - I am only 19. Has my GP got it wrong or can you get GD earlier that what is mentioned? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks xx
