Hi

this may be a long thread so bare with me!

found out I was pregnant on 15th October, last period was 18th Sept so would roughly be around 4 weeks pregnant, minus a few days. I knew for def I ovulated between 4th-6th oct as was tracking. Had slight bleed at beginning of pregnancy so referred to early pregnancy clinic for a scan, they scanned me and said I was very early and only about 4 weeks - assumed I was 6 weeks by that point, very confused as I had already known for 2 weeks yet they said I was at the very start of pregnancy. Had a further scan 2 weeks later (yesterday) baby measuring 6 weeks, 5.7 CRL and heartbeat but was ‘irregular’ and two bleeds seen on the ultrasound. Booked in for a rescan in a week. The heartbeat looked a little slow/sluggish aswel, my opinion but I’m not medically trained so could be completely wrong. I am not feeling optimistic at all, I’m bracing myself for worst case, I’ve had no bleeding/cramping, I think with the dates being 2 weeks behind and heartbeat viewed as irregular it’s not looking positive.

i guess I’m just looking for others who have had similar experiences? Good and bad stories, I am a very realistic person and whilst my heart is breaking going through this, I want to be most prepared for the outcome.

any comments/opinions would be much appreciated. Ive kept my pregnancy a secret so I can’t openly discuss with others as I wanted to get past this 12 week mark first.

thank you in advance
