Hey!

Those of you who’ve had kids close together, are there any books or anything else you’d recommend for helping a 2 year old understand their sibling is on the way?

Thanks!

There's a house inside my mummy is the one I wanted to recommend too!

My dc1 was very verbally precocious at nearly 2, leading us to vastly over estimate her understanding, and we thought she'd totally understood (in an age appropriate way) until she started asking to take the baby out of my tummy to play with and promising to put him back 😳🤣 She also asked another time who the baby's mummy would be - she didn't seem to clock he'd be as much our child as she was...

It does get across the idea there's a baby in mummy 's (womb) tummy in a 2 year old appropriate way though. Used it with dc2 when dc3 was on the way and got fewer unexpected questions, but then he'd always had to share his parents!
