So I'm absolutely devastated. I went for an early pregnancy scan privately and they told me I'm going to have a miscarriage. They sent me to my local hospital nhs early pregnancy unit and later today I will have a scan to confirm. After that, I will take medication to induce it and cause me to miscarry.
I was 7 weeks 6 days. I'm so scared and upset. I have been ttc for over a year and now my pregnancy has been taken away from me. Has anyone been through this and able to conceive quickly after this?
Thanks for reading and send your prayers and good luck wishes x x

How awful for you OP. I suffered a miscarriage earlier this year in February after TTC for a year so I know how heartbreaking it is to feel back to square one again.

if it gives you any comfort I conceived six months later and am now 14 weeks pregnant again and all is well so far.

take care of yourself - it’s an awful time but you’ll get through it. All the best.

So sorry for your loss.

I conceived 6 weeks after my MMC (13 weeks pregnant) and she is now a lovely 5 year old girl. There is some research that suggests fertility spikes for a short while after pregnancy, so we TTC as soon as we were able to and it worked out.

Take it one day at a time right now, and start to TTC when you feel ready.

So sorry you're going through this. It's awful experience I wish no one had to go through. I had a miscarriage on the 29th august at 8 weeks and I'm currently 6 weeks +5. I had a successful first pregnancy with my son so I was really shocked.
A lot of what I researched afterwards said you were really fertile in the months following a loss.
I hope you have lots of support, stock up on your pain meds & maternity pads so you're covered at home and not having to run out anywhere.
Schitts creek on Netflix got my through it, needed something happy to watch!
💗

Thank you so much. I will watch that and also stock up on my supplies. Not looking forward to tonight. I'm a little scared if you ask me! X

@rosegarden95 absolutley, it’s such a cruel and unfair thing to happen any woman.
wish you all the strength and good luck with the doctors.
I was told there was no need to wait for period to return to start trying again but it does make it easier for working out conception etc. altho I started trying after miscarriage was complete my cycle still returned two weeks later and I fell pregnant after that then 💗

rosegarden95 · 18/11/2022 12:33

@Daniki did your cycle come back on its original date previously? I was told it can take up to 4-6 weeks
