Follicle growth pain

Hey
Is it normal to feel your follicle growing one week before ovulation occurs? It’s like a very mild ache when I sit down in my lower abdomen/hip bone.
Does it affect your abillity to get pregnant? Who feels this too and got pregnant?

I definitely have pain each month but think it’s actual ovulation rather than before, but could be wrong. It appears to alternate sides. I’ve had 3, relatively quick to conceive and successful pregnancies. Good luck
