When to take a test

I know its very early but we had sex on the 6th how early can i take a test?

No we are trying for a baby?

About a week after a missed period! That way if you are pregnant you'll get a clear positive without having to hold it up at every angle wondering if there's a second line.

I would say 10dpo at the earliest (but still could show negative until missed period). 11dpo would be a safer bet.

I tested 2 days before my period was due (for both my pregnancies) and received pretty clear, but not very dark positive test results.

If your periods are regular, then take it the day after your period was due. That’s the only way to be certain.
