Pregnancy dates

Hello, I had a dating scan on the 15th July which made me 12+1 pregnant. Which would make the start of my pregnany 21.4.22. When I work out my conception date to be the 5th May (I also took a ovulation test that day and it was high on the 5th/6th) should my due date match from my LMP and conception? I understand they add the two weeks you’re not actually pregnant onto the scans, sorry for the silly question!

The NHS date from LMP as it’s often hard to pinpoint exact conception date.

Hello, I’m after some advice please.
In June I had a miscarriage. I bleed for a few days around 4. Me and partner, had sex, and continued for the rest of june. Then July, we fell out I did not see him. No sex for the whole of July. I had a period on the 12th of July for four days, and again on the 19 of July for 6 days. My periods are usually irregular. Then this month we started sleeping together again. My period is late. So I’ve done a pregnancy test, I did a clear blue, it’s came up positive 2-3. Would this mean I conceived in June? Because I tried to work it out I thought I’d be 6-7 weeks pregnant. Or would I conceived in August, and I’ve found out super earlier. Or is the pregnancy test just picking up previous pregnancy from my miscarriage. I’ve tried calling my
doctors but she wasn’t much help and said to wait for an emergency scan but that could be 4-6weeks wait.

Clear blue digital means you conceived 2-3 weeks ago, so you likely would have conceived early August. This would match up with your LMP of 19th July meaning you are approximately 4 weeks pregnant.

I only had sex on the 9th, 15,20th of August. Would it show up that early?
I was thinking of booking a private scan?
I just feel so confused and overwhelmed by it x

9th of August would align with conception in that case. You are too early for a scan, need to ne about 6 weeks.

Thankyou, the doctor I spoke to wasn’t reassuring at all, she really confused me.
she is sending me for a scan but said this can be 4-6weeks I was thinking of book a private one myself. Thankyou x

If you want an early scan you will have to book it privately. But there's no point having a scan before 6 weeks which for you would be end of August or Early September as you won't be able to see enough.
