GD and high BP experiences

I’ve been on labetalol for high BP since 12 weeks and have now been diagnosed with GD at 33 weeks. I passed the GT test at 26 weeks but was put on blood sugar monitoring for a week last week due to a growth scan which detected too much amniotic fluid (deepest pool 9.2cm, highest should be 8cm). It’s only my fasting morning readings which are over the limit, after food readings are so far within limits, but are in the higher side, particularly after dinner.
I have appointment tomo but just wondering what other people’s experiences are? I am booked in for a planned section at 39 weeks due to 2 x previous sections. Will they likely bring this forward now I’ve got high BP and GD?
Thanks

Hi, I was diagnosed with GD at 33 weeks and had high readings in the morning and was put on insulin to bring it down, which wasn’t too bad. I was then diagnosed with preeclampsia at 37 weeks and had my section a day later. At my hospital trust, I think they try to deliver at 38 weeks for GD.

Thanks for replying, I’ll be 39 weeks on Boxing Day so hopefully whatever date they choose will mean I can be home for Christmas. Currently booked on 28th so hope if they want to bring it forward they bring it forward at least a week!
