Early pregnancy anxiety

Hi all,

I have recently discovered that I am pregnant, I am about 6 weeks. We had been ttc for 10 months so a little while!
I am feeling so anxious that something will go wrong or that I’ll miscarry etc. I didn’t have this in my last pregnancy however that was 10+ years ago! If you’ve experienced similar how have you managed this?
we have booked an early reassurance scan through window to the womb in two weeks but not sure if there is anything else I can do in the mean time!
thank you!

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
It’s an awful worrying time as we literally have no control over much of it at all.

I booked the early scan too which was lovely but above all, try and get some rest, eat some good nutritional food if you feel up to it (don’t feel bad if you can’t!) and keep sharing your worries with those around you so you’re not keeping them all in your head.

Hope these 2 weeks fly over for you!

Thank you! It really is such a worrying time, especially before being able to feel baby move or being out of the early “danger zone” so to speak! I don’t remember feeling this anxious with my previous pregnancies but they were so long ago!!
