Can fright harm the unborn baby

Today, two cars almost hit me, obviously causing me distress and fright.

I am worried that these two events may cause a miscarriage or harm to my baby?

I may sound stupid but I have no idea I’m a first time mum and worried

Nah, it'll be absolutely fine. Chronic, ongoing toxic stress can harm fertility (small effect size), single incident is just stressful for you and won't have an impact on baby. Hope you are okay and feel calmer now

Fright causes a surge of adrenalin for 'fight or flight', a raised heart rate, pumping lots of oxygen to your limbs. It won't harm the baby.
