Cos dd is going to be a big sister, but she is also a little sister...

I want something NICE here, not tacky, not cutesy. I designed my own when dd was born

and yes I KNOW its naff full stop to have such a t shirt. But the kids love such stuff.

WHy not do your own again?

We are going to get teh DS's to do their own with a kit that you used to be able to get from ELC (hopefully they are still selling them!)

DS1s will be i am the BIGGEST brother
DS2's will say i am a little brother AND a big brother
and as a gift for the baby they are designing their own baby grow each ()

At least thats the plan for now!

FillyjonkisCALM · 30/01/2008 09:55

aargh maybe I should do my own.

surely there is a market here

but ar$e have run out of time

oh because I have about 5 days left before giving birth

like the "I am a big sister and a little sister" idea.

not sure about wording for ds's t shirt. He is the biggest, but we don't know if the baby is a boy or a girl.

DS1 is Big Brother
DS2 is Little Big Brother

If you think that link is tacky, what on earth were you hoping for?

And why can't you design your own again.Or use the same design.

hunofmonsters · 30/01/2008 09:57

but your ds will still be a brother either way

SoupDragon · 30/01/2008 09:58

"He is the biggest, but we don't know if the baby is a boy or a girl"

How does knowing the sex affect him being big/little brother?

FillyjonkisCALM · 30/01/2008 09:58

I was hoping for a nice modern design really

It probably IS impossible for a "I'm the big brother" t shirt not to be tacky, I suppose

OP posts:
FillyjonkisCALM · 30/01/2008 09:59

yes but he won't be the biggest BROTHER

because if this baby is a girl, he will be the ONLY brother

SoupDragon · 30/01/2008 09:59

Doing your own will take your mind of your due date anyway

SoupDragon · 30/01/2008 10:00

But he will be the Big Brother?

SoupDragon · 30/01/2008 10:00

Do you have 1 DS and 1 DD at the moment?

hunofmonsters · 30/01/2008 10:02

Goggle list for UK companiesthat make you personalized baby T-shirt

My DH made a lovely print for DD's T-shirt. Just a piece of special paper he printed onto using our printer and ironed onto the T-shirt and it looks pretty good for the money He got the T-shirt paper from PC World.

Have big sister/brother and little sister/brother too.

If you are going to do your own - inspiration for a design? However, I have found if you email these US stores with a nice gushy email about 'how we don't have such lovely stuff here' they will often send it you. With the current exchange rate it's often cheaper than buying here anyway!
