I am at 35 weeks and my belly button isn't protruding... anyone else?

I had a navel ring in for about 10 years and took it out when i was around 14 weeks. We think that it's toughened up so it wont poke out!

Mine never popped out through any of my pregnancies. Kept staring at it, and willing it to pop out, but it never did

Hi,

I'm 35+4 and my used to be really innie belly button is ALMOST popping out. It's kinda weird as I was convinced it wasn't going to happen. I managed to keep my belly button ring in till 34 weeks and then it protruded out too much and was getting a bit sore. A bit sad about losing it that late in the pregnancy to be honest!

I know... Wish I made it till the end though but it was looking a bit red and sore. It sounds silly but I loved my belly ring. Had to more than 10 years!

You're so lucky. I'm 25+3 and I bought a pregnancy belly bar which ended up BRIGHT red and stretched. So I've taken it out (I poke it back in each day to keep the hole open though) and also, my usually very inny belly button is half way out!! Plus I'm covered in stretch marks and I have a linea nigra lol... I don't do things by halves me..

Belly button horror story! I've got quite a deep bellybutton normally, anyway it's kind of turning into an inny, and what's really horrible, and I still can hardly look at it, is there's two big brown moles in there, slowly rising to the surface. It really is quite nasty. I keep forgetting they are there and getting a nasty shock every time I peer down at my bump and there they are staring back. Urggghhh!!!

Mine never popped out at all, so it's not automatic. Mumbles FFS, leave the ironmongery out and get re-pierced once you've hatched.

I am 31 weeks and my belly button has been poking out a little bit. But 2 nights ago, I think the baby must have had his foot just below it because I was looking at my belly and my button just started to rise.. and rise. Until it was sticking out by 4cm's or so.. like the end on a balloon. As soon as I shouted for my partner to come look, of course it returned to normal. But how weird is that. :P

Stayed in for first 2 pregnancies and kept belly bar in for whole time. 31/40 and this time has been poking out for the last 5-6 weeks but so far kept the bar in, feel it may be lost by the end of this one though
