Plan on using a swaddle for baby - can anyone give any advice on best methods? should I just buy one of the swaddle sleep suits? If anyone has any recommendations for them, that would be great.

Also, having a December baby so would I go for 2.5 tog?

How long do they sleep in them for? I have read to stop when they roll, so I imagine no longer than 12 weeks?

I am 29 weeks so no advice or personal experience yet but my friend has a 3 week old and is using the Tomme Tipee grobag/swaddlebag and she highly recommends them

I used giant muslins with both of mine. And then once in the next2me or Moses basket tucked a crocheted blanket over them.

I didn’t swaddle either of mine, they hated having their arms in. I did have sleeping bags with the option to swaddle their arms in it out, which gives more options. Do you know the temperature of your bedroom? This will tell you what tog to get and what they should be wearing.

Mine hated the normal swaddle but loved the love2dream as liens having her arms up. Had a November baby and got a 1tog as you don't wanna overheat
