Does Preseed have anything got to do with miscarriage

Hello ladies,

In the first month I tried to conceive I used preseed and found out I'm pregnant. Then few weeks later I miscarried. I heard alot of positive things about preseed and I'm glad I used it. But for the past few days I been reading things like many women suffered from miscarriages at early stage who used preseed. I'm also aware that miscarriages are common.
Is there really a link between preseed and miscarriage or it's just common?

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve not heard of any link but just wanted to say that you didn’t miscarry because of anything you did wrong. As you say, unfortunately miscarriages are common, but please don’t feel there was anything you did to cause it.

I would also guess that a significant proportion of women who have struggled to conceive or have suffered multiple miscarriages might use something such as pre seed so any anecdotal data could be skewed.

So sorry for your loss. We lost our first around the 6wk mark, having not used anything. I’m currently a little over 31wks with a baby we conceived using preseed so don’t think there’s necessarily a connection, it’s just shitty luck of the draw in the early stages sadly.

Sorry for your loss. I used preseed after having a miscarriage (didn't use when MC'd) and fell pregnant the month after and had a healthy little girl. Good luck x
