Im not an expert at all, but id guess it might depend when you went on maternity leave?

You should have got pay arrears on your payslip (which you should still get on maternity leave). How much will depend on maternity pay (like full pay/ half pay / smp) but it should be reflected as well on your salary point on your payslip as an increase.

Ya my payslips don’t have any arrears payments. I taught being on maternity leave maybe I wasn’t entitled too it and that’s why I didn’t receive it. I guess it’s time to contact payroll. Thanks for your reply.

maternity pay is calculated using average weekly earnings during week 17-25 of pregnancy so if the back dated pay goes as far as this you should get it. Otherwise you will only get the raise when you return. My pay review is in March but I will be on maternity leave so I won’t see any increase until I return to work sadly.
