Are migraine/headaches a sign of early pregnancies

Hello

I am trying for a baby. And the last week I have had a awful headache every single day, sort of feels migrainey.... I have done a test and it's negative

Would you say this is a sign of very early pregnancy? I never get this usually

If not I may book doctors and get it checked out

Not early pregnancy but later on and it's due to hormones so no reason why your headaches couldn't be too?

@Yourteaisgettingcold yes maybe! I guess I will wait to see if my period comes in a couple of weeks! The headaches have only been for the last week! I haven't had any other symptoms though! So might not even be that! Xx

If your period isn’t due for another two weeks then you must have only just ovulated. I’m sorry OP but it’s far too early for pregnancy symptoms. You may well have conceived but that’s unlikely to be the cause of your headaches.

@BretonBlue yeah that's true! I wouldn't of ovulated that soon after my period would I. God I feel like I am getting obsessed with falling pregnant! I need to relax and just let it happen xx thank you

I had lots of headaches in my first few weeks of pregnancy, up until around 9 weeks. So, I suppose it's a possibility... However, pregnancy symptoms overlap with PMS and other things so can easily be mistaken.

If your period is due in two weeks then it is very likely that you are currently in your fertile window. Take a paracetamol and grab your partner!
